Lot Essay

Frederike Charlotte, elder daughter of Prince Paul of Württemberg, took the name of Elena Pavlovna on her Orthodox baptism. She married Grand Duke Mikhail Pavlovich (1798-1849) at St. Petersburg in February 1824.
