    La jardinière formée d'un tonnelet cylindrique décoré de deux registres de panneaux floraux en émaux cloisonnés sur fond rouge, cerclés de cordages en bronze doré, soutenu par trois jeunes garçons en bronze doré représentés à genoux, vêtus d'une longue robe ; la base postérieure

    Such decorative jardinieres were usually 'planted' with a coral or a hardstone tree and were found in various rooms of the Forbidden City and other Imperial Palaces.
