Presidential Collection of Nguyen Van-Thieu, South Vietnam.
Private property of a Franco-Vietnamese collector, Paris. This work belonged to the same owner of the Battle of Lang Bac by Nguyen Thanh Le (Christie's Singapore, 18 May 1998, lot 126.) which was sold for a record price of S$63,259.
Nguyen Van Minh is the name of the artist - Le Tam who graduated from the Indochina Fine Art School from the class 1959-1962. He is known to be the designer for some of the rooms in the Presidential Palace in Saigon during the 60s.
