Engraved additional title with large vignette, 15 mixed-method plates, 1 double-page, 10 hand-coloured, some using varnish to make the paper semi-transparent, one plate with six pieces of coloured paper tipped-on with the end of each dipped in varnish, 4 uncoloured vignette illustrations, extra-illustrated with an original hand-coloured engraved prospectus. (Without subscribers' list, paper samples somewhat creased, repaired tears from inner margins of final text leaf and final plate, B4 with 4 inch repaired tear to outer blank margin, H4 with small repaired tears to outer margin, some other old creasing.) 20th-century blue half morocco, spine gilt in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, top edge gilt, the others uncut.
