One night before we stopped, we were playing around and this song came out of it. That weekend I wrote the words and this sheet shows the work-in-progress... 1p., overall measurements -- 15¾x22in. Lot Essay

Phil Collins co-wrote Easy Lover with Philip Bailey whilst Bailey was working on his second solo album Chinese Wall. It was released on this album in 1985 and later on numerous Phil Collins compilation albums, the first of which was his 1989 Singles Collection. Easy Lover reached number one in the U.K. charts in March 1985.
