Gilt-finished chain fusée movement with verge escapement, turned cylindrical pillars, pierced and engraved decorative cock, white enamel dial with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, inner chapter ring for date, the case with painted enamel scene of a young sailor bidding farewell to his wife and young child, his ship in the background, white enamel string border, outer rim with blue and gold decorative enamel motifs, with similarly decorated bezel and pendant and bow, with a later custom made outer gold and glazed case, signed on the movement, pendant indistinctly stamped with the number and additionally stamped JM
