    Including: a malacca cane with ivory greyhound head handle and white-metal collar; a malacca cane with ivory handle carved with iris flowers and leaves and engraved silver collar; a cane with engraved silver-gilt knob, 'A D' to the top, the shaft stamped 'THOMASSIN'; a bamboo cane with brown agate knob and silver collar; a bamboo cane with carved dog head handle and silver collar stamped 'HP'; a malacca cane with white-metal handle depicting Hindu deities; a malacca cane with silver collar and carved carved pistol grip handle; an ebonised cane with horn ferule mounted with a carved ebonised dog head; an octagonal staff terminating in an iron ferule, with white-metal eyelet and collar, the top inset with mother-of-pearl; a carved ebonised staff with ivory globe to the top mounted with a shield

    IMPORTANT NOTICE ON LOTS CONTAINING IVORY:
    The USA has recently changed its policy on the import of property containing elephant ivory. Only Asian Elephant ivory may be imported into the USA, and imports must be accompanied by DNA analysis and confirmation the object is more than 100 years old. Buyers will be responsible for the costs of obtaining any DNA analysis or other report required in connection with their proposed import into the USA. A buyer’s inability to export or import a lot is not a basis for cancelling their purchase.
