Lot Essay

According to the vendor, director John Glen, the dinner suit included in this lot was worn by Roger Moore whilst filming The Spy Who Loved Me. Moore subsequently gave the suit to Glenn during the filming of Moonraker in Paris.

In The Spy Who Loved Me, Moore wears a dinner suit in the key scenes when he meets Major Amasova [Barbara Bach] in the Majava Club, and later when they are searching for Jaws in the Egyptian ruins.
