    The first depicting a bird perched on a section of a pine branch, the head turned down to clean his feathers with his long beak, signed on a rectangular reserve Minkoku; the second of a recumbent stag with a monkey sitting on top, the fur delicately incised, the eyes inlaid in horn; the third an emaciated dog crouching over a human skull, the fur well rendered, the eyes inlaid in horn, the legs forming several natural himotoshi, signed Tomin
