    the first, kraak porselein, of globular form, painted all around the broad body with pairs of ducks swimming amongst lotus plants, below a broad band at the shoulder of peach cartouches on a diaper ground; and a jar painted with two rectangular panels depicting scenes from a novel, divided by morning glory and daisy sprays and emblems and clouds at the neck, the shoulder pierced for handles -- 11 in.
