Lot Essay

Ma Fuxiang was of the Hui minority and was born in Gansu province. He was a renowned military governor, scholar, and calligrapher. He was especially known for his large-character depictions of the word "tiger" and an example of his writing can be found on Jade Emperor Peak at Mount Tai.
