Consigned by a private distinguished collector, the present watch is one of less than 5 examples to have come up for auction to date, underlining once again its true exclusivity.

According to our research, the movement number of the present example is ending with 001, revealing that the present 5104 was the first example manufactured and sold to one of Patek Philippe's top clients. The example featuring a movement ending with 000 was most likely kept for the prestigious Patek Philippe Museum in Geneva.
