First Open: Art After Hours

London, 14 September 2017, 6pm – 8:30pm

Join us for a unique evening of art, live music and talks at Christie’s London, in celebration of our upcoming Post-War and Contemporary Art auctions. Drop in for an after-work drink and enjoy 10-minute art talks from four of our specialists in between DJ sets. Art will be mixed with food and fashion, with chef Lily Hirasawa, founder of Food85, presenting Seoul food, and pop-up boutiques from designers Kitri and Richard Braqo. Highlights from our forthcoming First Open, Prints & Multiples and on paper online sales will be on view, as well as a Hatchards art bookshop and coffee bar to browse and lounge in.

Specialists giving talks include Victoria Gramm (Post-War and Contemporary Art Specialist) on ‘Smoke and Mirrors: abstraction and illusion in contemporary photography’, and Murray Macaulay (Head of Department, Prints), discussing `The Song of the Sun: Joan Miró & the artist’s book’.

The perfect opportunity to mix with like-minded art lovers, please register for this exclusive event by signing up now.
