This season, Christie's would like to welcome you to its new gallery spaces – devoted to hosting viewings and auctions in November and December. The below calendar is designed to assist you in navigating this season's sales. Auctions will take place at Christie's Rockefeller Center and Christie's Redstone. How can I access Christie's Special Gallery?
If I want to see property prior to the start of the view can I request to see it at Rockefeller?
Will the Interiors specialists be available at 20 Rockefeller for appointments?

Will catalogues be available for purchase at each sale site? For all of the sales or just the sales that are at that location?

Will any items in the sales in Christie's Special Exhibition Gallery be transferred to Christie's Redstone for collection?

How can I access Christie’s Special Gallery?
All visitors attending viewings that are not for the Collection of Elizabeth Taylor should enter at Christie’s 20 Rockefeller Plaza, West Entrance. The entrance will be clearly signposted and there will be Christie’s staff wearing red scarves available to point you in the right direction. From the West Entrance you will be directed either to the Front of House space which includes a Front Counter, Cashiers and Property Collection, or to Christie’s Special Exhibition Gallery.

If I want to see property prior to the start of the view can I request to see it at Rockefeller?
Clients may contact the specialist department directly to determine if special arrangements may be made.

Will the Interiors specialists be available at 20 Rockefeller for appointments?
The Interiors specialists will remain at Christie’s Redstone with the property. See below for directions to Christie’s Redstone.

Will the viewing hours still be 10am to 5pm?
Yes, on weekdays and Saturdays the viewing hours will be 10am-5pm, and on Sundays 1pm-5pm, unless noted otherwise in the schedule in the above schedule.
However, at Christie’s Redstone, the weekend viewing hours will also be 1pm-5pm on Saturday, December 3, in addition to 1pm-5pm on Sunday, December 4. Will catalogues be available for purchase at each sale site? For all of the sales or just the sales that are at that location?
At Christie’s Redstone, we will have all New York catalogues available for purchase during the Interiors view and sale.  
In Christie’s Special Exhibition Gallery, catalogues for the sales on view in this space will be available for purchase. All catalogues, including the Elizabeth Taylor catalogues, may be purchased at the Front Counter at the West Entrance. Will I still be able to register bids at the previews at Christie’s Redstone and Christie’s Special Exhibition Gallery of Rockefeller?
Yes, there will be Client Service staff to assist with registration and taking bids in the Client Lounge at Christie’s Redstone, in Christie’s Special Exhibition Gallery of Rockefeller, and at the Front Counter at the West Entrance.

Will I still be able to use phone bidding and Christie’s LIVE?, etc?
Yes, all bidding options will remain available.

If the Elizabeth Taylor auction is taking place simultaneously, will it be possible to view both auctions on Christie’s Live?
Yes.  If you click on “Enter Sale” from the auction calendar for both auctions, the Christie’s LIVE window will have tabs at the top of the screen so you can switch from one sale to the other.

Where will registration be located in Christie’s Special Exhibition Gallery?
During the view, Client Service staff will be in both Christie’s Special Exhibition Gallery and the Front of House area at the West Entrance to assist with pre-registration and to take bids.  During the sale, Client Service will be able to register clients for auction in Christie's Special Exhibition Gallery.

Where will registration be located at Christie’s Redstone on the day of the Interiors sale?
Registration will be located in the Client Lounge with Cashiers.

Is there a separate saleroom at Christie’s Redstone?
A podium, seating, and telephone banks will be set up in the same space used for the viewing.

Is there a coat check at both locations?
Yes, there will be a coat check available at Christie’s Redstone and at the Front Counter at the West Entrance.  Additionally, there will be a supplementary coat check at Christie’s Special Exhibition Gallery.

In Christie’s Special Exhibition Gallery, where will I pay and collect?
Payment and collection will take place in the Front of House area at the West Entrance.

Can I pay and collect at Christie’s Redstone?
Yes.

Will Cashier’s and Post-Sale be open on Saturday, December 17th after the Important 20th Century Decorative Art & Design sale?
Yes, Cashier’s and the Property Collection Desk will be open at both locations on Saturday, December 17, 9am – 5pm and on Sunday, December 18, 10am - 5pm.

Will all items offered for sale at Christie’s Redstone be held at Christie’s Redstone or will some be transferred back to Rock?
Items sold at Christie’s Redstone will remain at Christie’s Redstone.

Will any items in the sales in Christie’s Special Exhibition Gallery be transferred to Christie’s Redstone for collection?
Collection and transfers will follow the standard collection process. If over-sized pieces are transferred, a lot collection notice will be sent out with your invoice.
