The sale of Important Chinese Ceramics & Works of Art realised HK$384,632,125 (US$49,886,787) with an overall sold rate of 70% by lot and 79% by value.  Chi Fan Tsang, Specialist Head of Chinese Ceramics & Works of Art, said, “Anticipation and energy filled the salesroom as buyers participated in fast-paced and competitive bidding. The strong performance of the John Insley Blair collection demonstrated the strength of the market for works of quality and rarity from important private collections. Strategic sourcing, depth in the market and a well curated sale produced a strong result, signifying the undiminished international demand for great works of art.”
