Christie’s Hong Kong Chinese Painting sales this autumn achieved HK$500,534,500 (US$64,919,325) over the course of two days. The sale of Fine Chinese Classical Paintings & Calligraphy on Monday, November 26 realised HK$84,865,750 (US$11,007,088) with an overall sold rate of 82% by lot and 80% by value.  The sales of Fine Chinese Modern Paintings on Monday, November 26 and Tuesday, November 27 achieved HK$415,668,750 (U$53,912,237) with an overall sold rate of 83% by lot and 89% by value.
