Alumni Association

The Alumni Association, set up by Christie's Education, seeks to build a worldwide network of relationships with past students. The association provides an interesting and varied programme of educational events to promote the sharing of common interests and experiences.

30 Years of Christie’s Education:
A Commemorative Volume Published in Aid of the Alumni Scholarship Fund

To commemorate the foundation of Christie’s Education thirty years ago, the current Academic Director, Dr. M.A. Michael, has brought together some of the key figures in the history of Christie’s Education to write an official history. A combination of reminiscences, interviews and essays by Robert Cumming, Patrick Bade, Caroline de Lane Lea, Gil Darby and others, as well as photographs of many of the old Course Directors and Lecturers such as Pietro Raffo, Deborah Lambert and Andrew Morrall are reproduced. In addition to this, an interview is included with Prof Irving Sandler, who talks to Veronique Chagnon-Burke about his role in the founding of Christie’s Education in New York. The History also includes an essay by Dr M.A. Michael, on the early history of the Christie’s family with previously unpublished material.
