CIRCA 1770-80, THE FIRST WITH UNDERGLAZE BLUE CV MONOGRAM, INCISED I V TO FOOTRIM, THE SECOND WITH UNDERGLAZE BLUE CROWNED CT MONOGRAM, INCISED F 2
The first painted in purpurmalerei with a standing figure between a stile and palm trees, below an iron-red and yellow chain-pattern border, gilt line rim (areas of wear to enamel at centre, gilt rim very worn); the second painted in colours and gilt with a figure holding a parasol surrounded by insects (damaged and repaired) (2)
