An almost identical çatma also dated to the 17th century is in the collection of the Sadberk Hanim Museum (inv. 9074-HK. 1469; Hulya Bilgi, Çatma ve Kemha: Ottoman Silk Textiles, Istanbul, 2007, no. 34, pp. 92-3). A Russian Orthodox cope made from a very similar çatma is in the Kremlin Armoury Museum in Moscow (inv. NO.TK-2216; Nurhan Atasoy, Walter B. Denny, Louise W. Mackie and Hülya Tezcan, Ipek: The Crescent and the Rose, London, 2001, fig. 95, p. 212).
