Hong Kong – On 26 November, Christie’s Handbags and Accessories live auction achieved HK$45,886,680 / US$5,901,807, with a hammer price of 107% over total low estimate and 55% of lots surpassing pre-sale high estimates.
A collection of Louis Vuitton Trunks from a Prominent Japanese Collector was 100% sold. The lively saleroom saw strong global participation from 22 countries across 4 continents, 39% of lots sold via Christie’s LiveTM, and of new buyers to Christie’s, 54% were millennials.
