PART ONE | SALE RESULTS
The Private Collection of President and Mrs. Ronald Reagan achieved $5,740,625 with 100% sold by lot surpassing initial estimates.
There were over 1200 registered bidders, from 34 countries, with strong participation across Europe and Asia, and representation from nearly every state in the U.S. There was a record level of online participation with 88% of lots bought or directly underbid by a Christie’s LIVE client with online sales contributing over $1 million to the total.
The top lot of the sale was A Diamond, Sapphire and Ruby Ring, by Bulgari which realized $319,500 (pictured left).

- A painting by Frank Sinatra, Fourth of July Fireworks, realizing $233,500
- President Ronald Reagan’s Cowboy Boots, realizing $199,500
- ‘Good Morning Mr. President,’ An Inauguration Gift from Mr. and Mrs. Francis Sinatra, realizing $106,250.
- A Series of Pencil Sketches Signed “Ronald Reagan” on White House Stationary, realizing $100,000.
- ‘You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet,’ A Needlepoint Cushion Circa 1984, realizing $71,250.
