During this time, Christie’s galleries will also display 20 historically important and rare Patek Philippe Watches on loan from global private collections, including many rare models never before seen in public or in horological literature. Additional dates and details to come Spring 2017.
John Reardon, Christie’s International Head of Watches: “As the world comes together in NYC to celebrate all things Patek Philippe this summer, it is our pleasure to present a curated selection of vintage watches for sale that tell the story of the brand from its earliest days through the modern era. The amazing thing about this exhibition is that people will learn about vintage Patek first hand, try on celebrated historic references on their wrists, and study the watches in a relaxed and elegant setting. It will not only be a chance for individuals to learn about vintage watches but it will also be a chance to buy and own superlative examples from Patek Philippe.”
