Hong Kong – On 23rd November, Christie’s held three evening sales – 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Can’t Wait ‘til the Night Comes: A Masterpiece by Yoshitomo Nara and HI-LITE, which totalled HK$1.06 Billion / US$136,485,872 with a combined 87% sold by lot.

The top lot of the sale was Sanyu’s, Five Nudes (painted in 1950s), which sold for HK$303,985,000 / US$39,181,211, setting a new auction record for the artist.
