Lydia Fenet serves as the Managing Director and Global Director of Strategic Partnerships at Christie’s. In addition to her role within Christie’s, she has raised over half a billion dollars for over 400 non-profits worldwide as the leading benefit auctioneer in the country. Ms. Fenet has trained all of Christie’s benefit auctioneers for the past seven years, and travels around the country to speak to corporations and groups on “The Art of Selling.” Lydia’s auctioneering achievements have been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Vogue, Crain’s, Elle, Vanity Fair, Forbes, WWD, Vogue.com, and WorkingMother.com. The Most Powerful Woman in the Room is You is her first book and will be published by Gallery, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, in Spring 2019. Lydia received a degree from Sewanee, double majoring in History and Art History.
Lexy Schmertz is the Senior Director and International Representative of the Strategic Partnerships Department. Previously starting her own consulting firm and holding the position of Chief Marketing/Business Development Officer at Moda Operandi, Lexy brought her skills to Christie’s in 2015. As an expert in global partnerships, integrated marketing, editorial content and digital audience building, she works to drive branding, engagement, and client acquisition. Lexy received her BA in from Princeton University and her MBA from Dartmouth College.
Joining Christie’s in 2015, Lily served as Manager of Strategic Partnerships, and later as Senior Manager. Prior to Christie’s, Lily was the Manager of Marketing and Brand Partnerships at KSM INC and Special Events and Brand Partnerships Coordinator for Gucci. Lily received a B.A in Public Relations and Marketing from Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication.
Alexis joined Christie’s in 2018 as a Strategic Partnerships Coordinator. Prior to Christie’s, Alexis worked at several respected Media, Public Relations, and Fashion companies such as Karla Otto, BPCM, and Clique Media Group. Alexis attended UCLA, earning a B.A. in Art History.
