Christie’s 20th and 21st Century Online Sale returns this November with a curated selection that celebrates the bold voices shaping contemporary and modern art. Showcasing a rich spectrum of visual languages, the sale brings together a global roster of artists whose works reflect the energy, diversity, and innovation of our time. Among the highlights are Damien Hirst’s Happy, Happy, Harvest, a striking example of his enduring exploration of life and mortality; Chu Teh-Chun’s 18.4.86, a luminous abstraction that exemplifies the lyrical power of East-West artistic synthesis; and Chen Fei’s Saliva, a hyper-detailed, cinematic composition that blends humor with cultural commentary. Also featured is Yoshitomo Nara’s In the Floating World (set of 16), a compelling series that captures the artist’s signature blend of innocence and introspection.
Additional works by Joel Mesler, Sterling Ruby, Zhang Xiaogang, Atsushi Kaga, and others round out the sale, offering collectors a chance to acquire significant pieces at accessible estimates, with select lots presented at no reserve.
Bidding will be open from 18 to 28 November, with highlights on view at Christie’s Hong Kong from 18 to 28 November.
