Katie Lundie is a Specialist in Christie's Chinese Ceramics and Works of Art department in London, bringing more than 15 years of experience across the art market and venture capital sectors. She rejoined Christie's in 2026 to drive the department's growth and lead the return of live Asian Art auctions to the London sales calendar.
During her previous tenure at Christie's between 2012 and 2020, Katie contributed to the sale of several important private collections in London and New York, including the Soame Jenyns Collection and the Collection of Florence and Herbert Irving.
Katie holds an MA (Hons) in Chinese from the University of Edinburgh, an MA with Distinction in the History of Art and Archaeology of East Asia from SOAS, University of London, and an MBA from the University of Cambridge. She has lived and studied in China, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand, and speaks Mandarin Chinese.
Combining specialist knowledge of Chinese art with a strong commercial and strategic background, Katie advises clients across the UK and internationally on valuations, collections and consignments, while shaping the strategy and development of Christie's London Chinese Works of Art department.
