The 20th/21st Century London Sales

October 2021

The Christie’s 20th/21st Century auction series reflects the evolution of the art market, presenting works in dialogue across centuries, geographies and artistic periods. This October, following the stunning successes of our global cross-category sale format, 20th/21st Century London offers a remarkable selection of modern and contemporary works with a stellar calendar of live and online sales, including Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online and Modern British Art.

Livestreamed across salerooms in London, New York and Hong Kong, the series is headlined by 20th/21st Century: Evening Sale, Including Thinking Italian. Showcasing the best of Italian and international art, highlights include Alighiero Boetti’s Mappa, Peter Doig’s Hill House (Green Version) and David Hockney’s Guest House Garden – in public for the first time in 20 years.
