This January, Christie’s is proud to support the British Friends of the Art Museums of Israel gala dinner and art auction. Hosted in Battersea, Christie’s Senior Auctioneer Hugh Edmeades will be taking up the gavel to auction a selection of works donated by established and emerging contemporary artists from all over the world in aid of the organisation. This year’s guest of honour is artist and author Edmund de Waal OBE.

The British Friends of the Art Museums of Israel (BFAMI)
is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to raising funds to support educational programmes run by the Art Museums of Israel. These programmes share the rich artistic culture and history of Israel alongside prominent international contemporary art, with future generations across all strata of society.
