Kalos Kagathos – Nikos Aliagas
Photographs Exhibition and Benefit Auction

Paris, 13 March 2019

English | Français

This March, Christie’s presents, in collaboration with Nikos Aliagas, 12 photographs by the celebrated Greek-French journalist and photographer. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Maison de la Grèce, the cultural centre for the Greek communities in Paris.

Taken from Aliagas’s black and white photobook L’Épreuve du temps, the works on offer explore a common theme of the marks of age on the human body: folds on hands, lines on faces, the expression of innocence on an elderly figure or the precociousness in a child.

Discover the world according to Nikos Aliagas from 11–16 March at our Avenue Matignon galleries. We look forward to welcoming you to our exhibition and charity auction, to be held on 13 March.
