London & Online, 27 October – 17 November
The Collector brings together the finest European and English furniture, works of art, ceramics, silver, gold boxes and clocks from the 17th to the 19th century. Presented over two sessions, the live sale in London on 12 November showcases pieces selected for their distinctive craftsmanship and provenance. Please note that although it is not possible to attend this auction in person, it will be available for remote bidding, with clients able to watch the sale and bid online in real time through Christie’s LIVE™, or alternatively by telephone or absentee bid.
The online sale, open for bidding from 27 October – 17 November, offers an eclectic array of furniture, works of art and objects – perfect for those wanting to curate a unique living or dining space.
Christie’s is delighted to have collaborated with journalist and tastemaker Gianluca Longo for this edition of The Collector. Style Editor for both British Vogue and Cabana Magazine, Gianluca has styled a series of vignettes featuring works from both sales, using the magnificent Great Conservatory in Syon Park as a backdrop.
