Louis Vuitton Speedy 30

The Louis Vuitton Speedy 30 distils the house’s travel heritage into a compact design. Originally launched in 1930 as ‘The Express’, the bag reflected the era’s fast-paced lifestyle and offered a more streamlined version of Louis Vuitton’s Keepall bag. Though the first Speedy 30 was made from a logo-less fabric, it later became available in the house’s signature Monogram canvas.

Defined by its softly structured silhouette, rounded handles and engraved padlock, the Speedy 30 offers a sophisticated, everyday aesthetic. Various iterations of the design have ranged from the use of a rainbow monogram in the 2003 Speedy Multicolore, to the addition of a detachable strap in the 2011 Speedy Bandoulière. Practical yet lightweight, the enduring design of the Speedy 30 makes it one of Louis Vuitton’s most coveted handbags.
