Richard Serra prints

Richard Serra’s prints reflect the same focus on form, materiality and process found in his sculptures. Working primarily with lithography and etching, Serra uses bold, gestural marks and deep, textured surfaces to explore the physicality of the medium. His prints often feature large, abstract shapes and lines that convey a sense of weight and structure, akin to his sculptural work. Serra’s graphic work investigates the relationship between positive and negative space, emphasising depth and movement.
