This September, Christie’s unveils the 21st Century Day Sale, a vibrant celebration of contemporary art featuring an exceptional array of works from both globally renowned and emerging artists.
At the forefront of the sale is a stunning selection of works by Yayoi Kusama, highlighting the diversity of her artistic vision. Notable pieces include the large-scale Pumpkin (C) (1991), Black Butterflies (1989) and INFINITY-NETS [HOAWD] (2014).
Additionally, the sale will feature a captivating work by George Condo, The Showgirl (2008), which beautifully exemplifies his signature ‘Artificial Realism’ style.
Prominent Chinese contemporary artists such as Zeng Fanzhi, Zhang Xiaogang and Liu Ye will also be featured, alongside Japanese talents like Yoshitomo Nara, Izumi Kato and Yu Nishimura, as well as celebrated post-war and contemporary artists such as Roy Lichtenstein and Nicolas Party.
