21st Century Evening Sale

New York
21st Century Evening Sale

Sale Overview

The past months have had a lasting impact on the way we experience the world. In these times of change, Christie’s unveiled an innovative approach to presenting art of the 20th and 21st centuries in May. Our global 20th/21st Century Art auction series reflects evolving market demands and collecting habits, breaking through traditional sale categories to make new stylistic connections, elevate masterpieces and discover extraordinary emerging works – both physical and digital.

This November our new-look 20/21 sales return to New York featuring IMAGE WORLD: Property from a Private American Collection, which celebrates pioneering artists of the Pictures Generation. Established contemporaries that have been pivotal in defining contemporary art, such as Cindy Sherman, Richard Prince, and Christopher Wool, will be sold alongside new market darlings like Nicolas Party, Harold Ancart, and Xinyi Cheng.

Viewing is by appointment only from 30 October – 11 November. Click here to make a reservation.
