Associate Vice President, Specialist, Head of Sale | Post-War & Contemporary Art
Isabella Lauria is a Specialist in the Post-War and Contemporary Art department at Christie’s New York, and Head of the Post-War to Present sale. In this role she is focused on introducing new and established collectors to wellknown, as well as emerging and underrecognized artists. Prior to joining Christie’s, Isabella worked for another international auction house for four years where she focused on the Contemporary Art sales, achieving record prices for artists such as Sam Gilliam and Jack Whitten. Born in Caracas and raised in Miami, London, Washington, D.C., and New York, Isabella speaks Spanish, English and French. She received her Master’s in Art Business with a focus on Contemporary Art from the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York.
