Jade brooches

Jade brooches are carved from nephrite or jadeite, ranging in tone from soft celadon to vivid green. Leading jewellers including Cartier and Bulgari blend traditional designs with modern innovation, with designs often shaped into floral, animal or symbolic motifs. In 2016, Christie’s sold a jadeite and diamond brooch, mounted by Carvin French, for HK$19.2 million, reflecting the enduring allure and heritage of this revered gemstone.
