Wine

Produced since antiquity, wine has been central to social rituals, religious ceremonies and fine dining across Europe, the Middle East and beyond. Crafted from fermented grapes, wine reflects terroir, with styles shaped by climate, soil and tradition. From Bordeaux and Burgundy to Champagne, historic regions continue to define excellence, while New World wine-producing areas such as California’s Napa Valley have earned global acclaim for their innovation and quality.

Today, fine wine remains highly sought-after for its heritage, rarity and ageing potential, with iconic producers including Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Domaine Armand Rousseau, Domaine Georges Roumier and California’s Screaming Eagle. The wines of Château d'Yquem are particularly legendary, with an extensive collection being sold for HK$8 million by Christie’s in 2010.
