ArtCrush 2024

Art Auctions to support the Aspen Art Museum

  • Event date 17 July - 3 August
  • Event location New York & Aspen

ArtCrush will consist of two auctions, one taking place live during the iconic ArtCrush gala on 2 August, led by Adrien Meyer, Global Head of Private Sales and Co-Chairman of Impressionist and Modern Art, and one taking place online on Christie's website, from 25 July to 3 August.

ArtCrush is the culminating event of Aspen ArtWeek (30 July – 3 August), an energetic program of performances, talks and live events that centres timely topics in the field of contemporary art, forges new ground in live events and performance and celebrates those whose creativity and vision have helped shape culture. At this year's ArtCrush Gala, the Aspen Art Museum will honor architect Shigeru Ban, artist Jacqueline Humphries and composer and artist Jason Moran.

All works have been generously donated by artists, galleries and private collectors in support of the Aspen Art Museum's artistic and educational programs, and will be on view throughout the Aspen Art Museum from 17 July – 3 August. To celebrate 45 years of work through this unique, artists-founded institution, the Aspen Art Museum will invite all artists to retain a percentage of the profits of their works.

About the partner

ArtCrush

Aspen Art Museum is an artist-founded institution dedicated to supporting artists in the development of bold ideas to shape our museum and the field of art today. We are both a platform and a place, highly attuned to the advancement of the vital ecosystem of art and the critical discourse surrounding it within the context and community of Aspen and beyond. As an exhibition-focused, non-collecting museum, we are positioned to make strong commitments to meaningful exchange, both responding to—and driving—cultural change.
