A French ormolu-mounted, Sevres pattern and satinwood gueridon
In the Louis XVI style, third quarter 19th Century
The rectangular top with a pierced brass three-quarter gallery, with a rectangular inset panel, the centre painted with an oval of figures in an interior, with a trellis 'jewelled' ground and two oval medaillions, the frieze also decorated with panels, above fluted legs, each headed by a satyr cherub supporting a basket of fruit and flowers, on 'x'-shaped stretcher centred by two birds
26½in. (67.5cm.) wide; 31¼in. (79.5cm.) high; 16¼in. (41cm.) deep
