TWO ENAMEL HANDLES AND THREE PAINTED WOOD HANDLES
Circa 1785, perhaps Birmingham, late 18th century and 19th century

The enamel handles of tapering oval section, the blue grounds with spiral silver bands, with silver ferrules and ends (both with cracks and the fork with some damage to silver spiral), 3 1/2in. (9cm.) and 3 1/4in. (8.3cm.) long; two wood handles of tapering oval section painted and gilt with cornucopias of fruit among leaves on a green ground (restorations to paint), 3 1/2in. (9cm.) and 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) long; and a wood handle of tapering cylindrical form painted with red-centred white stars on a blue ground, the blade with cutler's mark of a crowned fleur-de-lys, 3 1/2in. (9cm.) long (5)
