Circa 1715, in contemporary fitted travelling-case

Each teabowl and saucer applied in relief with three sprays of rosebuds and foliage, the interiors richly gilt (slight chipping to footrims of three teabowls, minute chip to one rim, very slight rubbing to centre of one teabowl, the saucers with rubbing to rims and one centre, and slight chips to two footrims), one teabowl with indistinct lustred mark; the shaped rectangular black leather-covered travelling-case with gilt tooling and gilt-metal hinges, handles and escutcheon plate, the interior lined in green velvet edged with gold braid (lock damaged, distressed)
