Painted in puce camaieu with two deer hunting scenes, the cover with two huntsmen with their hounds above gilt scroll half-cartouches with pendant flowers and flanked by flower-sprays, the cover with lemon finial (slight chip to rim of cover and minor damage to finial), 4 1/4in. (11cm.) diam.); the milk-jug similarly painted with a boar hunt and an equestrian figure with his hound, the shell-moulded spout and handle enriched in gilding, blue crossed swords mark and incised Z to footrim, 4 5/8in.
