The matt silvered dial with engraved and waxed Roman numerals and Arabic minute ring, recessed subsidiary seconds with blued steel spade hands, in openface plain case numbered 968 signed to the cuvette, the frosted gilt fusee movement with engraved cock and foot, diamond endstone to the bimetallic balance with segmental weights and flat blued steel hairspring, Earnshaw escapement jewelled to the third repeating on two oval cross section gongs by depressing the pendant, with gold ratchet key, case and movement signed and numbered
