A GROUP OF THREE ARITA MODELS OF A COCKEREL, HENS AND STANDS
LATE 17TH/EARLY 18TH CENTURY
Seated and displaying their plumage decorated in iron-red, black, aubergine and yellow enamels and gilt, the stands similarly decorated on underglaze blue, each in a form of a tree trunk with moulded pine and plum flowers, (the cockerel with restored beak and comb, stands with some small damages)
Cockerel, 19cm., hens approx. 13cm., stands approx. 9cm. (6)
