North Country, possibly Scottish
Crossbanded overall and inlaid with boxwood and ebony lines, the broken pediment above a plain frieze, above a pair of crossbanded doors inlaid with a satinwood rosette, the sides chamfered and inlaid in satinwood with trailing husks, enclosing two adjustable shelves, and eleven satinwood fronted drawers, one fitted, around a central cupboard inlaid with a rosette, with letter racks, and an adjustable mirror, the base section with four long graduated crossbanded drawers inlaid with chequer banding, the sides fluted, on shaped C-scroll bracket feet, minor restorations
