A Small Oak Hall Table
The design attributed to A.W.N. Pugin, circa 1846
With shallow frieze drawers below overhanging top, carved and chamfered gothic supports, the spandrel sides similarly carved and chamfered, on original brass castors, the drawers with simple brass floral drop handles
31 1/8in. (79cm.) high; 44in. (111.8cm.) wide; 21¾in. (55.5cm.) deep

Lot Essay

It is probable that the present table was one of the many examples made to, or after Pugin's designs for Adare Manor by J.G. Crace.
