With open slat back, central fall-front inlaid with pewter and satinwood, with a formalised foliate design, opening to reveal a balsa-wood fitted interior with drawers and compartments, flanked by tall narrow cupboards with mahogany-veneered interiors, the doors inlaid in various stained fruit-woods with two Art Nouveau maidens, two lower frieze drawers with deeply recessed handles, backed with zinc and detailed with satinwood and a single pewter dot
