Decorated overall with Chinese island landscapes with temples, pagodas and pontoons, the rectangular top above a dished rectangular slope enclosing a fitted interior with tan leather-lined writing-surface within a simulated Nashiji border and with two tiers of serpentine-fronted pigeon-holes and drawers above a well, the waved apron with two short, one long and one simulated drawer, on tapering cabriole legs and foliate sabots, restorations, one leg spliced, one drawer with a wax seal of an S beneath a coronet, the interior drawers partially re-lined
