The rectangular stepped top with moulded tapering cornice above a shaped frieze-drawer and a recessed bowed door enclosing two shaped shelves, flanked by detached columns with composite capitals and above an inverted breakfront deep drawer with spreading base, on a stepped and gadrooned plinth with block feet, the reverse stamped ICPH, restorations

A similar Biedermeier cabinet with bow-fronted door was sold anonymously, Sotheby's New York, 20 March 1993, lot 326, and a further model at Christie's Rome, 29 September 1989, lot 1341.
