An English mahogany, marquetry and crossbanded cylinder bureau
Late 19th Century
With three-quarter gilt-brass gallery, above three frieze drawers, the cylinder centred by a musical trophy and opening to reveal four pigeon-holes, four small drawers and a pull-out leather writing surface, the lower part with two frieze drawers, on square tapering legs, the brass lock-plates stamped HOBBS & CO LONDON MACHINE MADE LEVER
